I take the health of my family, my clients, and myself very seriously.
One thing clients have known about me for years is that “Stephany really doesn’t like germs”. Sanitation is and has always been a big deal to me, and is even more so now in these uncertain times. I do not have the luxury of being in the “herd immunity” camp and instead take every precaution possible for prevention of the spread of COVID-19 in my environment. My son has asthma and many of my clients are considered higher risk. I am strict for them.
Until we’re in the clear, YOUR SALON EXPERIENCE WILL BE a bit DIFFERENT THAN BEFORE:
We will both be wearing masks throughout your appointment. Unfortunately, if anyone cannot wear a mask for any reason, I cannot perform services on that person or allow them in my salon at this time.
I cannot hug anyone – and that is SO HARD!!!! But do not take it personally. Trust me, as soon as I can feel safe doing so, I will be back to hugging all of you. 😉
I’m asking everyone to please text me when they arrive to ensure that I’ve had adequate time to disinfect between clients.
I’m unable to offer free bang trims for now. Every time a person comes into my salon, even for 10 minutes, I need to disinfect the whole thing after they leave. I can’t afford to do that for free services at this time.
Bring an extra layer if you come late in the day. I keep the AC on full blast to stay comfortable with my mask on all day, but for your short visit, it might be chilly.
I will still offer products online with no-contact pickup for purchases between visits.
I am offering a 10% discount for anyone bringing a (clean) bottle from home to refill with any of my shampoos, conditioners and body care products. I did this before as a green thing, and now it’s a necessity because plastic bottles are on backorder for months.
At your appointment, you will be asked to fill out an Informed Consent and Service Agreement before services can be performed. If you’d rather view or fill it out before your visit, you can either download it and print it at home, or fill it out online.
- To download and print at home use this link: COVID 19 Informed Consent 2020
- To fill it out online visit here: COVID-19 Informed Consent 2020 – Google Forms
You will be asked to sign this at your appointment (if you don’t bring one already signed) and have your temperature taken before services begin. Anyone refusing to sign or appearing visibly ill may be rescheduled or cancelled.
The Minnesota Board of Cosmetology also requires I have a COVID-19 Preparedness Plan. You can view mine here: COVID_19_Preparedness Plan
